The parking lot was free but tight. They are known for long wait for seat at popular times. Dutch Baby pancakes are famously delicious. The bacon was thick and wonderful. The over easy eggs were cooked to perfection. Old school restaurant.

Absolute favorite place in the world. Consistent amazing food and staff! I will say the sweet options are superior to the savory in my opinion. I feel at home at the pancake house :)

Pancakes that will even win over non pancake fans! I like pancakes every few years, I don't love them. But these -- these are worth the trip and the treat! Every item was made with the freshest ingredients, the restaurant was so charming and clean -- I was on cloud 9! I ordered the blueberry pancakes, my friend got the Dutch baby and we all shared the berries & hasbrowns. (Both of the shares are well worth it as an add on!) Our server was nice and prompt. She even gave me some tips for my next stop in Astoria. Super friendly!

Terrific! This is the 3rd time I've been here and it's always the same great food and super friendly folx. The service is quicker than you'd think for as busy as they are. You'd think the ambiance would suffer for having such a full dining room, but honestly you don't even notice the people around you. I,ve brought others with me and they also enjoyed their food. Must be good.

Love coming here, the food is consistently great! All pancake and omelet options are huge and worth the price. Service has never been bad! There is a cute old charm to the dining room, and sizable parking lot in the back. Most of the menu is decently priced, a few stray items are steep (a side of 1 egg is $4.50) but it's pretty even. Main place for improvement is the wait system, you have to be there when you are called and they don't text.

The service was excellent and the food was very plentiful. I got the eggs Benedict and that is just the amount of hollandaise sauce I aspire every time I order this dish this might be the only time I've ever gone enough hollandaise sauce. On top of that everything was delicious. My wife got the banana pancakes and the pancakes were so fluffy yet dense with flavor as well as a big thing of powdered sugar a big thing of strawberries and a big thing of whipped cream. Everything was so good. The whole rustic feel of the dining area.

The original pancake house is a must stop for brunch in the portland area. They have a wide variety of delicious offerings. I would recommend the bacon, it's was $9, but is was delicious! We also enjoys the Dutch baby. I would steer clear of the "fresh squeezed orange juice" it was thick due to how much pulp was there ( see photo). I couldn't drink it die to thickness.

The OG Original Pancake House would be worth a visit if only for the history and tradition surrounding this venerable establishment. Throw in the classic, delicious dishes; the wonderfully friendly, attentive service; and the kitschy, classic vibes, and you're looking at an all-around great time.
